Gallery
The gallery brings together a selection of works and objects chosen for their presence, their matter and their capacity to dialogue with space.
Each piece takes part in the universe developed by the studio: places that are calm, timeless and deeply inhabited.
Untitled, I
Jean-Paul Gaultier
Composition on canvas after Jean-Paul Goude's Made in mode. Portrait Haute Couture collection. Raised lettering on the coin.
The Phrygia-Lisa
After the Phryge, the 2024 Olympic Games mascot, a tribute to the 1924 Olympics. Original work.
Alebrije, bronze.
An homage to the hybrid figures of the Mexican imagination — creatures dreamt by Pedro Linares in the 1930s. Cast in bronze with the lost-wax technique, the alebrije leaves coloured papier-mâché behind to enter the duration of metal. A held silhouette, a gesture that recalls clay and foundry from the same hand.
Catrina, bronze
An homage to La Calavera Catrina by José Guadalupe Posada (1910), raised by Diego Rivera to the rank of Día de Muertos icon. Skeletal elegance draped in an ample dress — the bronze stills the moment between celebration and remembrance.
Alebrije, polychrome
A polychrome variation of the alebrije bestiary. The casting holds the structure of the metal; the painted patina restores the palette of the cartoneros — green, ochre, vermilion. A dream-bird silhouette that keeps ritual and colour.
Karl Lagerfeld
Composition after a photograph by Pierre et Gilles — Karl Lagerfeld and his cat Choupette. Phosphorescent effect in the dark, after light exposure.
Liberty, 2024
After Eugène Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People and the assassination attempt of 14 July 2024 — Kennedy and Lincoln at the bottom of the canvas.
Sans titre, VIII
Harmony on the Swing
Interior painting.
