Matter, light, duration.
Between Paris and Mexico City, Atelier Cantera develops an architecture guided by matter and light.
Founded in 2024 by Gabriel Chaussée Jiménez, a French-Mexican architect trained at the École Spéciale d'Architecture in Paris, the studio explores the continuities between French craftsmanship and Mexican constructive cultures.
Stone, lime and raw earth structure a contemporary architecture — timeless and durable — designed for places inhabited over time.
