Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

This site runs only two processing operations. There is no third one, and no data is ever sold, rented or shared for gain.

• Contact form. Purpose, answering your enquiry. Legal basis, our legitimate interest in handling a request you send us. Data, your name, your email, and depending on what you fill in, your phone number, the nature of the project, its location and your company. Retention, three years from the last exchange.
• Newsletter. Purpose, sending you the studio’s publications. Legal basis, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link in every message. Data, your email address only. Retention, until you withdraw consent.

Who sees your data

Your data is handled by the studio and by the technical providers that run the site. None of them may use it for their own purposes.

• Vercel Inc. (États-Unis) : site hosting and aggregate analytics
• Supabase Inc. (Union européenne) : likes counter on Journal articles
• Resend Inc. (États-Unis) : delivery of contact-form messages and the newsletter
• Transfers outside the European Union: two of these providers are established in the United States. Such transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. An email to contact@ateliercantera.com is enough to exercise it, with no particular formality, and we answer within one month.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, cnil.fr.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies, no social network pixels, and shares nothing for targeting purposes.

• ac_region: remembers the location you chose, so you are not asked again. Written only when you make that choice. Lifetime, one year.
• ac_consent: remembers your answer to the analytics request, so you are not asked again on every page. Lifetime, six months.
• Both fall under the consent exemption for preference cookies set in response to a user action.
• _ga and _ga_ETCW5KKC5W: set by Google Analytics, which measures site traffic. They carry an identifier that distinguishes your browser from others, without naming you. Lifetime, thirteen months.
• Atelier Cantera is the controller for this measurement, and Google Ireland Limited is its processor. Data may be transferred outside the European Union, under the Data Privacy Framework.
• A second measurement, Vercel Web Analytics, runs alongside it: it sets no cookie and assigns no persistent identifier.
• Google Analytics is only loaded after you agree: until you answer, the script is not executed and none of its cookies are set.
• You can change your mind at any time through the Cookies link at the foot of every page. After six months, you are asked again.

What we do not do

No decision about you is taken by automated means, no profiling is carried out, and your data feeds neither targeted advertising nor any third-party service.
